Come explore one of the largest heritage gristmills in Ontario! Keep up-to-date as we continue to restore this 1885 Ontario beauty for the next chapter of her 135 year story. Now providing short & medium stay accommodation and event space rooted in historical & ecological preservation – with a community focus.
Featuring: arts and cultural retreats, ecological restoration, bespoke accommodations, hiking and cross-country skiing trails & more.
Short Term Accommodations
We can currently accommodate groups from solo visitors larger groups with nine bedrooms across three suite options: the three bedroom Loft, five bedroom Retreat Centre, or the yurt. Click here for more on accommodation options. (Later in 2027, we will be expanding with eight additional rooms in the farmhouse, for 17 rooms total for short term rental.)
Monthly Rentals
The third floor of the mill has been thoughtfully renovated into four one-bedroom apartments. Click here for more information.
The Next Chapter: Stark Farmhouse Restoration
The next phase of development will happen up the hill & across the street at the original 1854 farmstead of the milling family, the Starks (and before that, the Valentines). This large home is being converted into two short term rental suites with 8 bedrooms total. The units will be able to be rented individually or together with the suites in the mill for larger retreats.
